Help us celebrate our
past and embrace our
future with your 2008 -
2009 Annual Fund gift.
Today we look to the
future and are secure in
the knowledge that what
we have accomplished
over the last 15 years
in support of helping
those most vulnerable in
our society, dependent
children, will continue
as a vital component in
Sacramento County; we
celebrate our beginning
and our successes. We
look to you as part of
our future in providing
the much needed flexible
funding necessary to
operate our agency and
continue this legacy of
life.
Gifts to SCA’s Annual
Fund provide our agency
with a source of
flexible funds to
respond to the ever
growing needs of abused
and neglected children
in our society.
Opportunities and
initiatives that enrich
our children, in
addition to our legal
advocacy, are vital to
provide the much needed
services that can enrich
the children we serve.
The best part is, it
doesn’t take a huge
donation to have a big
impact. When taken
together, gifts to SCA’s
Annual Fund, whether $25
or $25,000, comprise one
of SCA’s most
significant sources of
support. And because
Annual Fund gifts are
typically unrestricted,
they can be directed to
areas with the greatest
need – and the greatest
potential for impact.
Sacramento Child
Advocates (SCA) was
established in 1991 by
Judge Roger K. Warren a
trial court judge. It
was founded primarily to
address the longstanding
concern that children
who have been removed
from their homes need
and should have direct
legal representation.
Affirming this need, the
Superior Court of
Sacramento established
an MOU, making SCA
the designated
court-appointed legal
counsel for every child
who enters the system in
Sacramento County.
Please help us to
continue our efforts on
behalf of these
children. Every
gift matters. Make
yours today.
