Did you know? |
California
Correctional Peace
Officers Association
The California
Correctional Peace
Officers Association (CCPOA)
has reached out to SCA
with an extraordinary
gift of $26,000. Its
commitment to youth and
the prevention of crime
speaks to only a small
portion of what this
committed group of men
and women has been
working on since the
group was founded in
1957.
CCPOA now represents the
more than 33,000 brave
men and women who work
the toughest beat in the
state—California’s youth
and adult correctional
facilities and paroles.
Community involvement is
a very high priority
among the members of
CCPOA, and they are one
of the biggest
contributors to
charities in
California.
SCA and the children it
serves thanks CCPOA for
its generosity. Without
committed groups such as
CCPOA, SCA would not be
able to provide the
services so desperately
needed by the nearly
5,000 abused and
neglected youth that
come before dependency
court every year.
Thanks again to all the
Peace Officers!
