Every day,
children in Sacramento
are taken from their
homes due to abuse or
neglect. Today,
Sacramento Child
Advocates is helping
almost 5,000 children
find a secure, safe home
where they can grow up.
We strive to educate the
community about this
vulnerable population.
We fight for the rights
of children who have no
one else to speak for
them. Every month, about
150 children in
Sacramento will be taken
out of unfit homes.
Together, we can give
them a chance to live
normal lives.
OVERVIEW OF SCA
Sacramento Child
Advocates is a unique
organization which
provides free legal
support to children who
have been abused and
neglected. SCA was
built on the idea that
every child deserves a
voice in court, and that
we could be that voice.
Founded in 1991, SCA has
helped almost 24,000
children in the
Sacramento community.

and neglected children
who have been placed in
the foster care system,
and to provide for their
legal representation.
